Museum Hours

Aplington House
Open by chance and appointment year-round. Tours are always available. Please call ahead. Phone: 815-946-4142 E-mail: museum curator No fee. Donations are welcome.

Burns House
Burns House is the office of Blackhawk Waterways and is open 8:00 am - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Polo Lime Kiln
The lime kiln is outside and always ready for viewing near a working quarry on Eagle Point Road west of Polo. Enjoy the flowers and birds.

Campbell Law Office
The building currently houses the private law office of Reese and Reese. The building interior is open by appointment only, please make arrangments through Aplington House.

Henry School
The school house is open Wendnesday afternoons from April through October and by appointment. Tours are always available, please make arrangements through Aplington House.
